Do you sometimes feel like you constantly have the same situation or feelings showing up? Sometimes we can be in a rut, caught in a cycle. Here are some tips and tools that I’ve found helpful.
- Maybe the situation is so complex that you need to see it from many different angles to understand what it is trying to teach you. Ask yourself, I keep seeing this problem come up, what if I was open to seeing it in a different way? What are the positives of this situation?
- What if this situation is challenging you to uplevel your energy and the ability to navigate in a more uplifting positive way?
- I was reminded of the bed bug infestation that I had last July. I believe it was a major upleveling that required me to spend over a month in survival and taking care of me. What better usage than a bug that has been around over 115 million years. I looked up the spiritual meaning of bed bugs and this is what I found; “The spiritual meaning of bed bugs often symbolizes hidden anxieties, unresolved issues, or the need for personal growth.”
- Another idea is that we learn on a spiral not linear way. I like the idea of a spiral staircase. Visualize yourself on the first step of the spiral staircase. The situation you are currently dealing with is on this first step. You learn from it, and move on, and up the next step. You may not have this “situation” show up for another few steps up the ladder as you learn other ways of navigating the challenges that show up. Then, out of nowhere the same situation you thought you cleared shows up again, it’s still at the first step but now you can get better perspective. This gives you an opportunity to see it with less emotionally charged energy and see it for what it was. Each time you uplevel to another “stair”, you may be presented with this “same situation” until you’ve learned everything you needed and it no longer shows up. It’s not challenging you, it’s simply asking, have you learned all you can and if so, it will stop. If not, it will continue to show up until you’ve looked at it in every single angle.
