Each day that I go into the office, as I’m preparing for my client, I light a candle, turn on the water fountain, burn a little incense and pull an oracle card. The oracle card is a message for me and sometimes the client. I then write the word on the Buddha board. The Buddha board is my reminder to “Master the art of letting go and live for the moment”.

For today’s writing I decided to do a random pull of a card from the Work Your Light deck by Rebecca Campbell. It seems very fitting for what is happening in the world right now and insight I’m receiving for the coming months for the collective.

Align Your Life – What is not aligned or needs to change?

Taken from the guidebook
What in your life is no longer in alignment with who you truly are? We are cyclic beings, in a constant state of change, of evolution, of growth. Change is one of the only certainties of life. When you resist your cyclic nature, you resist life and feel stuck.

Many of us have learned to be who the world wants us to be. But there comes a time when it is harder to hold onto this façade than it is to embrace who we truly are. To surrender to how we have changed and align life to that way of being.

This card encourages you to let go of who you once were or the things that you once defined yourself by – the job, the relationship, and the mask you wore, and to embrace who you truly are now. To courageously step into the person that you came here to be in full authenticity. To embrace your weirdness and your uniqueness.

Perhaps you’ve outgrown some relationships or circumstances, and it is time to reassess and bring all the parts of your life into alignment so that they are congruent with who you truly are today.

We are needing to be flexible, to stretch and grow, even if it’s uncomfortable.

A challenge can be to figure out who am I right now? If I’m constantly changing can I even figure this out? I believe there is a core BEing that is consistently available and that at times we cover this core BEing with mask’s, protection, projections of who we think we are supposed to be. When we do this we get out of alignment.

Sometimes when we desire intimacy, not only in a romantic relationship but with friendships and interactions, we get frustrated. It takes trust and vulnerability to create the intimacy we desire. We also need to show up as our authentic self. This can be super scary, especially if we’ve never felt safe to do so. It is definitely a process, and not everyone gets to be in the inner circle for you. Regardless of whether it’s family, co-workers, or friends, there has to be a foundation of trust. Just like planting a seed, it takes time, and while some plants (relationships) will flourish, others will wilt and die.

Take some moments this week to consider who are you when you feel comfortable, safe, nurtured, and have the ability to be yourself. That is your core BEing. Take time to get to know yourself more, slow down, be quiet, tune inward, pay attention to the body you inhabit, what are the messages trying to get through to you?

Not able to do any of this? You may be out of alignment energetically and keeping yourself productive (checking off the to do list constantly) and busy keeps you that way.

There’s some information being presented that the energies are quickening over the next three months. Be gentle with yourself, do less, go slow. This doesn’t seem to make sense, however, the more you consciously choose to stop and smell the flowers, and look up at the trees, and the sky, and more appreciating of the simple sweet moments, the easier the energy will be and the more the energy will support you.

Keep things simple and curtail all the things that distract you from whatever you do to go within.

So when it is really fast we want to deliberately go really, really slow. And you will actually get a lot more done. If you try to keep up with the energy you are going to get tired really fast. (excerpt from Nicky Hamid on FB)

What can you start incorporating into your life now to be present, to be in alignment and in the flow of energy?

What is Enlightenment

I came across this post from JeffFosterOfficial on Instagram and it really resonated with me. What is enlightenment? It’s falling in love with this ordinariness. It’s seeing the extraordinary –

Winter Days

I had to run to the store just now, it’s 6:30 pm. I just realized that what I thought was a pimple (yes, at age 62) is actually a cold
