A chaotic mess of bright neon colors.

Isn’t it interesting that a little chaos or change is palpable, but when it gets ramped up and one feels like they are in a tornado, it becomes super unsettling and feeling unsafe? Many of us go into resistance, wanting to fight the chaos/change, being in a fearful state, scared and feeling like a victim. It’s understandable.

I tune into the energy of the collective quite often, getting a glimpse sometimes of what is in the works on a larger scale. I’ve “seen” some of what is currently happening in the United States getting created. Not the details, just the energetic creation. I’ve been sitting with this, working with a variety of tools I use and the messages I have been receiving is to practice centering, grounding, empowering, tapping into my inner wisdom and connection to All That Is.

Let’s take a moment for you to consider this, in your life, when you’ve been scared and/or worried, did you make good decisions for yourself? When you’ve felt unsafe, were you able to gather yourself and create a space to feel safe again? When you were so angry you felt it in your body, were you in state to make changes or decisions in a positive way?

These are things to ponder for yourself. Lots of changes are being stated, some being implemented, some on hold and going through the judicial system in the US. It’s intense.

Here are some tools that I’ve been using.

  • When I feel helpless, I look for the ones that are able to speak up, stand up, and make a difference.
  • When I get angry, I ask myself, am I adding to the problem by getting angry? Am I feeding the anger that is creating the chaos?
  • When I feel unsafe, I take a moment, to close my eyes, take in a deep cleansing breath, letting it out, reminding myself, right here, right now, I am safe. I have a home, food and clothing. I center and ground myself.
  • I remind myself, I have the tools to be calm, centered, at peace and when I am in this state I am in a much better place to make changes and to make decisions.
  • I’m also working on my internal dialogue, creating a strong mindset, making sure my mental and physical health is balanced and calm

Lately I’ve been guided to watch a variety of documentaries on Presidents, from JFK to Nixon, Martin Luther King, Jr., the Watergate Break-in, and many others that show the tumultuous times that have happened just in my lifetime. It’s not lost on me why I’ve been “guided” to watch these. They have been helping me to gain perspective and also to remind me of the tenacity of the American people that I am part of.

I encourage you to check in with yourself daily, are you holding your shoulders tight, breathing shallow, believing you have to stay up-to-date on all the things happening? Is it serving you? Is it helping you to be who you desire to be? What tools are in your tool chest? Do you have tools that need updating, or creating some new ones?

You know, I’m a great brainstorm person to bounce ideas off of. If you haven’t figured it out by now, I’ve got an amazing creative imagination AND the ability to share healing energy AND to help you see, feel and know the absolutely amazing empowered BEing that YOU are! Let’s tap into that power, get to know it. It’s time.
