lists

I was listening to a podcast and they were discussing the To Do lists that many of us create. Sometimes it’s so we feel that we are being productive, other times to keep track of all the things we want and need to get accomplished. What I found interesting is the podcaster suggested making a Take Away list. I liked that idea!  Instead of adding stress what if you look at taking things away?

So, pondering this, I have decided to take away, for June and July the pressure of writing an article every week. I’ve been writing articles for 71 weeks in a row (give or take) and lately I find myself obsessing throughout the week of what to write. The pressure I am putting on myself is not needed and I know this, however, I need to refresh.

So, do not despair though, I will still send the email, it will have quotes and possibly comments of why I felt the nudge to save it and share it.

Do you have things in your life that you could put on the Take Away list? Even for a short  period of time? You may find yourself feeling a bit more refreshed, more energy to do the things that give you joy, happiness, relaxation, peace, and a new outlook!
