There are many times I’ve felt like I’m in a hallway in my journey. You ask, a hallway?
It was a couple of years ago that I came up with that description. It usually means that I’ve outgrown spiritually or emotionally where I’ve been and not quite grown into where I’m to be. I picture in my mind’s eye a hallway, which is fairly well-lit, with a variety of doors. There is an end to the hallway, sometimes I can see it, sometimes not.
It is an uncomfortable place because I want to BELONG and this no-mans-land is a strange feeling. What I’ve learned are the doorways are options if being in the hallway gets to be too much. They don’t help me move forward, they are distractions. If I choose a doorway, I end up back in the hallway eventually and it takes that much longer to get where I truly want to be.
Once I learned to embrace the uncomfortable feeling I’ve been able to walk through the hallway a bit quicker. I’ve also learned there is monumental growth during the hallway time. It helps me to gain strength, insight, wisdom. I have an opportunity to assess where I’ve been, what I’ve learned, what I still get to learn and where I want to go. It basically forces me to be at peace in the process. However, because of free-will I don’t have to stay, I can always choose a door as a distraction.
I’m actually approaching a hallway currently. I have been furthering my Reiki journey and receiving attunements for Lightarian Reiki. Lightarian Reiki will allow me to channel healing energies of a higher vibrational nature for the benefit of others. I have learned, through experience, to simply embrace the process. I’ve learned to lean into the feelings I’m having, journal, meditate, and talk it out with a friend. I will always continue to further my spiritual journey to expand and grow as much as I possibly can. This not only helps me but helps everyone else in the process of awakening and living a more authentic life.
